When you select the option to send documents by email to external recipients, DocuGen allows you to customize the subject, body, and sender of the email containing the generated document.

DocuGen item view
- Go to Settings > Delivery
- Check the box "Send as attachment by email to this address" and select an email column from the dropdown
- Click the "⭐ Customize..." button
DocuGen board view
- Go to Settings > Delivery
- Check the box "Send as attachment by email to this address" and select an email column from the dropdown
- Click the "⭐ Customize..." button
- Send from: The default is no-reply@docugen.io, but you can add your own email address.
- Copy the user who generated the document: When DocuGen sends the email containing the generated document, the monday.com user who generated the document will receive a copy of the email.
- Subject: You can add any subject line. You can also use placeholders to dynamically insert text from your board.
- Body: You can customize the body of the email, including dynamic placeholders that retrieve information from your board. When you click on any of the placeholder chips below the 'Body' text area, DocuGen will insert the corresponding placeholder in the body.
