Delete a subitem table

To delete a table definition:

1. Go to the DocuGen view
2. Go to Settings > Subitems
3. Hover over the subitem table and click the trash button

⚠️ Make sure to update your Word template

If you delete a table, make sure your Word template does not include table placeholders referring to this definition. 

Say you're deleting a table called "My products". Open your Word template in Microsoft Word and search for any table placeholder referring to My products:

• <<subitems_header:My products>>
• <<subitems_body:My products>>

You can either remove the tables altogether from your document, or replace the placeholders with the name of another table from your DocuGen settings.
