Insert images into your document

You can insert images from your board into your document. If you use a Files column that includes images, DocuGen will insert the images into the generated document:

Please note special considerations related to images below.

You can include images in your document using the <<table_body>>, <<subitems_body>>, or <<column_firstrow:COLUMN LABEL>> placeholders.

If there are multiple images in the Files column, DocuGen will include all of them in your document.

Considerations related to images:

1. Images must be in PNG or JPG/JPEG format and must be no larger than 10 MB in size. If there are multiple images, the combined size of all images should not exceed 20 MB. Otherwise DocuGen will insert the file names instead of the actual images into your document.
2. When inserting images using the placeholder <<column_firstrow:COLUMN LABEL>>, insert the placeholder in its own paragraph OR inside a table cell. Do NOT insert the <<column_firstrow:COLUMN LABEL>> placeholder:
   1. in the same paragraph with other text
      or
   2. in a text box
