This article will show you how you can generate documents based on a single row of data using a button column.
1. Add a Button column to your board
Add a button column to your board; let's call it “Generate doc”:

2. Add a Files column to your board
Add a Files column to your board; this is where DocuGen will save the generated documents.
Make to update your DocuGen view Settings to deliver the generated document to the new Files column:
3. Copy the DocuGen view ID
Copy your DocuGen view ID in order to use it in the automation.
4. Add a monday.com automation

4. Click on the button to generate a document
Click on the "Generate doc" button on any row then go to your DocuGen view. Within a few seconds you will see a new document saved in the Files column. Voila!
