Starting 1 August 2025 DocuGen Sign seals documents with a digital certificate once all signers have signed the document. The digital certificate confirms two things:
- The document has been signed by all intended signers
- The document has not been tampered with since it was signed
This is how you can find out if your document's digital certificate is valid:
- Open the document with Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free from here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/
- If the document is sealed with a digital certificate, this message will appear at the top: "Signed and all signatures are valid"
- Click on the button "Signature Panel" to display more information about the digital certificate. DocuGen digital certificates are signed by "DocuGen, Inc." Here is a sample:
