What document types does DocuGen support?

Generated documents

DocuGen can generate documents in the following formats: 

• Microsoft Word (.docx)
• PDF (.pdf)
• Google Docs (with the help a simple Zapier trick) 

You can select the document formats you desire from the DocuGen Settings tab.

Document templates

For templates used to generate documents, DocuGen accepts Microsoft Word (.docx) documents only.

1. If you have a macro-enabled Microsoft Word document (.docm), you will need to save it as .docx before using it as a template. The macros will remain operational in the generated document.
2. If you have a Google Doc that you wish to use as a template, you can easily download it from Google in .docx format and use it as your template.
3. If you have a LibreOffice (.odt) document, you can easily convert it to Microsoft Word (.docx) and use it as your template.
