You can create a complete workflow that generates documents and sends them out for signature using DocuGen. Here is how:
Step 1: Set up document generation
The first step is to set up DocuGen to generate documents.
Step 2: Set up e-signature
You will need to add a DocuGen Sign item view:
- Follow the instructions to set up DocuGen Sign
- In step 2 (document source), follow the instructions for "Catch from a Files column"
- In the last step (integration recipe), make sure you trigger the status column when the value is "Send"
That's all! Whenever you update the status to the correct value, DocuGen Sign will pick up the last file generated in the Files column and will send it out for signature.
