Suppose you would like to insert the sum of a subitems column into your document. For example, suppose your subitems contain an 'Amount' column and you would like to insert the sum of this column into your document:
To do this, you will need to create a summary column at the item level. Click on the ellipsis (...) next to the 'Amount' subitem column name and select 'Show Summary on Parent Item':
monday.com will create a new item-level column containing the sum of the 'Amount' subitem column. We've renamed this column 'Gross Amount' in our example:
That's it: just insert the 'Gross Amount' column value using the inline placeholder <<column_firstrow:Gross Amount>> or insert it as part of an item-level table using <<table_body>>.
