If you try to create a Word template with placeholders that refer to column names that have right-to-left (RTL) characters, DocuGen might fail to generate your document properly. This is because Microsoft Word automatically inserts a space next to the column name:
If you remove those extra spaces, your template will work fine. However, removing those spaces is very annoying and difficult in Microsoft Word.
The simplest solution is to copy the placeholders as generated by the “Get list of placeholders” button under DocuGen Settings > Document delivery. Check out the details here.
