Step 2: Insert the table placeholders

Insert the <<table_body>> or <<subitems_body>> placeholder inside a guide table in your template. When generating a document, DocuGen will replace <<table_body>> with the actual data from your board (without the column labels), and will replace <<subitems_body>> with the list of subitems belonging to the row that was used to generate the document (again, without the column labels).

You can also use the <<table_header>> or <<subitems_header>> placeholders to insert the corresponding column labels.
