Currently the following column types are not supported by DocuGen: (fear not, we are working hard with monday.com’s developers to make those column types available in DocuGen.)
- Link (URL) columns are supported but will not be clickable when inserted in your generated document
- Auto-Number and Progress Tracking columns are not supported and will be blank if included in your generated documents
- Time Tracking columns will only display the display the hours component when inserted in a DocuGen document. For example, if the Time Tracking column displays "3h 21m 17s" in the monday.com board, it will display "3" in documents generated by DocuGen.
- World Clock columns will display the time zone but not the actual time in your generated documents
- Checkbox columns

- When inserted directly inside a document, checkbox columns are partially supported as they will appear as a checkmark "✓" when checked (blank when unchecked.) If you would like this to appear inside a checkbox, insert the column placeholders inside a small one-by-one table in your document. The placeholder will probably be difficult to manage inside the tiny table, so start with a wide column, test the placeholder, then narrow down the column to the desired size. Make sure you set the following options in Microsoft Word > Table Properties:
-
-
- Under Table tab > Options: uncheck the option "Automatically resize to fit contents"
- Under Table tab > Options: uncheck the option "Automatically resize to fit contents"
- Under Row tab: make sure the "Row height is: Exactly".

- When used inside a formula, checkbox columns are supported as long as they are used as a true/false value in the formula without an operator like =. For example, a checkbox column called "Accept" can be used like this:
IF({Accept}, "Congrats", "Try again")
... but cannot be used like this:
IF({Accept} = TRUE, "Congrats", "Try again").

- Mirror Columns are generally supported but have some limitations. Refer to this article for more details.
Make sure to uncheck the above columns from DocuGen Settings before generating documents.
